I am just about to turn 40 and have started on a new fit lifestyle. I am 25 pounds overweight, but am not focussing on that.
Right now I am doing 30 minutes of cardio 4 x a week and weight training 2-3 times per week.
On the days I do not do cardio I am taking the dog for a power walk (so far he is the only one to lose weight)
I am NOT dietingLosing weight Yo-yo dieting. I think the word is evil. I am trying to eat healthy, no transfats, no refined suger (reading all labels) and complex carbs. Oh and lean protein.
This is not a quick weight loss program, I am trying to change my thinking. I am an active person, camping, hiking, canoeing. I had two mc this year and medicated myself heavily with chocolate.
Any advice?
I already have more energy, and that includes the days I hit the gym at 5:30am.
