Yes, a slow and steady weight loss is healthy and make your body stronger. If you loose too much much weight quickly, you will feel sick and also weaken your immune system.
A healthy diet and exercise can help you reduce some fat quickly and in a healthy way.

Just start eating twice less then you do now for the rest of your life. And you'll be much slimmer.
Well, let's be accurate here -- almonds and avocados are full of saturated fat and are still good for you, and cranberries are horribly sour if not sweetened with sugar, so nobody snacks on cranberries unless they're sweetened. And carbohydrates are the healthiest foods to eat -- all vegetables and fruits are mostly carbohydrates. It's simple carbs that can be the culprit. Eating right is hard because everyone has a theory these days, but let's not confuse the poor poster here. Peace everyone.
Why do you have to lose so much weight? Isn't that unhealthy? Do not go on carbohydrate diets and avoid trans and saturated fats. To obtain a healthy fat diet though, eat avocados with strawberries in organic salad mix. Snack on almonds and cranberries! Exercise every day and try to find a partner to exercise with.
