Hi,
Vitamin B12 is used as a remedy for fatigue and it speeds up the metabolism.
Vitamin B12 does not have direct effect in reducing weight, but has got indirect effect in reducing weight of patients.
By saying indirect effect, I am saying that vitamin B12 per se does not cause weight loss but induces hyperactivity in patient which further leads to weight loss.
People who take vitamin B12 shots are more health conscious and hence already would be on weight loss diet.
Vitamin B12 causes the metabolism to speed up, which in turn increases weight loss.
Vitamin B12 increase the energy and motivates patients to exercise and increase physical activity.
Vitamin B12 also helps to fight stress and depression, symptoms which are sometimes associated with weight gain.
In a study, it was found out that giving Vitamin B12 1000 mcg/week, had beneficial effect on patient of Asthma.
After Vit.B12 injections it was found out that it induced bronchodilatation.
Hope this helps you.
Have you consulted your physician before? What he has to say about this?
What are the other methods you are employing to get your weight down?
Bye.
