Hey, I see that you dont want to spend money and get fit at home which is perfectly logical and acceptable. Many people think that health only comes after spending money and buying expensive equipments which is completely wrong!

I suggest you should start running in the morning hours which is a best cardio exercise. You can also start skipping ropes after that. These two exercises will burn enough calories in your body and will burn that excess fat too. Your heart beats will be stabilised and Blood pressure will be under control.

And how much is the investment? A pair of shoes and a skipping rope!

Have fun! All the best!

Running is great fun, I loved it, but it's not very good for you.  It's very hard on almost everything.  Some can do it forever with no problems, but it's very hard on the knees, plantar fascia, hips, and the like unless you're running barefoot all your life on unpaved surfaces, which is pretty much impossible in any developed country.  People should run because they love it, but skipping rope is a lot less likely to cause long-term harm.  I don't say this to discourage running, I wish I could still do it, but just to say, having aged, that it catches up to a lot of us.  Be careful out there but if you love it, well, life is going to get you anyway so that's a good reason to do it.  But not if you don't love it and you're just looking for exercise.  Peace.
But, if I could still do it, I would -- there's nothing like getting outside in the air and feeling everything swish by.  You can also get this by bicycling.

Well, if you're running, you're already doing great.  There are a million videos you can look at for free on YouTube for dumbbell routines.  If you need heavier bells -- one weight isn't usually enough, as some exercises are just easier than others and need more weight -- one purchase of them might come with a whole set of exercises to do with them if you buy from certain places.  In the meantime, anything you do for exercise can be made more intensive by using light dumbbells -- squats, many ab exercises, core exercises, and I'm sure you know how to do simple curls and lifts.  Just do them correctly so you don't injure yourself.  Try starting with YouTube.

I agree with Paxiled- there are a ton of options.  If you are looking for good videos- my advice would be to check your local library before buying any.  Check out a few of different varieties, see what you like best- then you can better purchase something.

What are you trying to accomplish?  This is a big category -- you can do a ton of things at home, especially if you buy some equipment.  If you're wealthy you can build your own gym at home.  You can buy a stationary bike or elliptical machine for the home.  You can do yoga, pilates, calisthenics, push ups, crunches of an incredible variety.  So given you can do so much at home, the question would be, what is it you're trying to accomplish.  You can also buy a ton of videos out there that have home exercise programs on them.
