I have been reading a book in Barnes and Nobles called the Blood Type Diet, and I found that there are certain foods that you should stay away from for certain blood types. Some foods actually don't do anything for certain bllod types so there is no point in eating them. There is also a list of foods that will help a lot with your fitnes goals. It will also teach you what these power foods will do to your body for your blood type. I also have made some changes to the way I eat based on my blood type, and I found that it is working for me. Maybe you should do a search on google for this also. Maybe it will help with your plateau. Let me know if it works for you.

Hi

Firstly you should understand that a lot of patience and perseverance is indeed required in any weight loss programme.

Regular aerobic exercise is important in reducing weight as well as reversing any risk of developing heart disease. Most experts recommend 30-60 minutes of aerobic exercise three or four days a week, along with two or three days of weight-bearing, resistance exercise (such as weight lifting). This is sufficient to achieve satisfying results. You can exercise daily or on alternate days, depending on the availability of time.

Walking is one of the simplest aerobic exercises. You can vary the intensity to match your fitness level. Brisk walking, cycling, jogging, skipping, step aerobics, swimming and aerobic dance are the various other aerobic exercises which you can perform.
Besides your regime should also involve some toning exercises such as abdominal crunches and oblique crunches. You should include regular warm up and cool down exercises in your schedule. You should take small and frequent meals and also take care of what you eat. Avoid any junk food, overeating, soft drinks.

However, any aerobic schedule should be started only after consulting a doctor or physiotherapist

Hope it helps!

Hey! I've been dieting and exercising for several months now. I don't know what you hurt yourself doing, but I've read that a LOT of people hurt themselves when exercising and then just give up because they think "Oh, I must not be able to do it...."   But actually a lot of experts think the problem lies in people being so eager to lose weight that they start off exercising too strenuously or with weights that are too heavy for them, and of course they get hurt and give up.  Maybe you should start out with just a simple walk in the afternoons or something, and work your way up.  I had some exercise DVD's and instead of using 5 lb weights like the people in the video, I had to start out using NO weights, but now I can do them with 8 lb weights    :)     Just taking it slow can help a lot!
