I know getting out the door of our own house is the hardest thing. Is there someone you know that could hold you liable to go ie. meet them at the gym, go to a swimming class, or buy a new bathingsuit or workout clothes so you have something you may want to wear at the gym?

Here's the deal.

I LIKED exercising.  I had a great routine, took about 2 hours but included all the things I like to do, cardio, weights, and swimming.  Went 2-3 times a week.

I just got out of the routine and can't force myself to go back.

When we fall off track sometimes the best way to start up again is to not put pressure on ourselves expeciting ourselves to do a 1 or 2 hours exercise. All you need is a taste of exercise and how good it makes you feel so plan it ahead of time. Plan that at 4pm I will go for a walk to ??? road and do situps when I get home or I will do 10 minutes of the cardio video I have etc. You just need to get started and it is easier if you don't put to much pressure on yourself to accoplish extreme sweating, strengthening etc.Whatever you do for exercises and what you like. Plan it in! Or find a fitness class at a certain time, go with a friend, or share your plan with a friend so you are liable to explain to them later why you did or did not exercise. Measure the inches of the body and plan to remeasure in 1 month  so you know you have a deadline. Any of these things could help, whatever works for you. Remember it is a way of life! so make it fun and enjoyable othewise we fall of the wagon.

I hope that helps.
What was your routine before?

THank-you for introducing me!

To inform people on more about myself, I have suffered from a traumatic accident with scull fractures, broken jaw, broken facial bones, broken neck, fractured shoulder (has a plate in it now), torn ligaments and tendons of the back, sprained SI joint, and I also suffer from hypermobile joints which some know as "double jointed" which increases the instability of joints. Additionally I suffer from costchondritis.

In recovering from chronic pain I have used physiotherapy, massage, acupunture, IMS, meditation, stretching, weight training, postural inproving techiniques.

Lets get to know each other in this community, so I encourage you all to come and introduce yourself.
