just Wondering If It's Better To Start Walking Now That I'm 6 Months Pregnant? I Heard It Is Because You Can Have An Easier Birth. Is That True?

Yes it is very true. you are able to run All the way to almost to your last week (although not recommended) but it is recommended to stop running at 20 weeks. I would also recommend doing Kegel exercises, balancing exercises in a routine of light weights and resistance bands. In your first trimester, you will be able to do all exercises to include adominal exercises back exercises with light weights.

with second and third trimester, your exercises become limited.at this time you should not be doing any running unless cleared by a doctor. You are still able to do pushups in like weights.to substitute running doing aerobics class because it's the less on your joints or do some swimming aerobics in the in the pool.

but the biggest thing that you're going to have to check for yourself at 2nd and 3rd trimester is to make sure that you are not going over a hundred beats per minute. If you go over a hundred beats per minute, then you are susceptible to being light headed, orpassing out.

thank you. I also used to walk in the beginning of my pregnancy. Doctor said it was ok but to walk slow paced not to fast. And it's also best to walk a lot during the end of pregnancy. Thank you for the information (:

Yes it is good to start walking.. but do not do it in great excessive amounts. Walking is good but if you never did lots of walking now is not the time to start walking lots and lots of kilometers. Keep it short and sweet! All the best when the time comes!
