JUST GOT A PERSONAL TRAINER

JUST GOT A PERSONAL TRAINER

Hey everybody! I don't really have a question... I'm just excited about working out with a personal trainer and wanted to share my pleasure! If you have the time (and the funds of course) I SO recommend it. I need to lose about a third of myself and I know that this is the way! Would love to hear from others who are trying to fit in a regular workout - I'd love to share the motivation!

Hi shay75, how are you doing? Thanks for sharing your experiences and giving so much information. I fully agree with you for planning fitness or weight reduction program under the able guidance and instructions of a experienced trainer. Well, it may be very costly if one has to hire a personal instructor but as a team/group few persons together can work under supervision of an instructor, which can be affordable. Once can keep updated with new updates and techniques. Once again thanks for your thoughts. Keep posting. Take care.

Thanks for the support and encouragement! I've gone twice this week, have my third appointment tomorrow - can't wait! Jdesousa - thanks I'm already happy! Suri123 - You are so right. I considered the bootcamp at this same place (about a third of the cost) but the times didn't work in my schedule... Marissposa - I will be HAPPY to tell you anything you want to know. Their main plan is circuit training because I want to lose weight. Warm up on an eliptical machine for 5 min, then 20 reps of leg press, 2 min back on the machine, then 20 reps for whatev, back on the machine for 2min etc; We do something for quads, lats, biceps, triceps, flys, bench press, shoulders, pretty much every muscle group. We end with abs. The trainer I used wed (its a husband /wife team that trade off depending on the time of day) gave me my favorite tip so far... FOR ABS- hold a 5 lb weight while you're lying on your back, reach back over your head and then curl up with the weight reaching the ceiling.... Then for obliques - Same 5 lb weight. Sit down and lean back until you feel some pressure, then twist side to side with the weight in your hands. LOVED that one - was really sore. Sorry for so much babble - just excited to share!! : )
