Jogging on treadmill
Hey guys I try to jog on treadmill for at least 1 hour but, like 10 min in my right side under my ribs I feel a "cramping" pain but its not a cramp. I usually am able to push threw it. I wondered if anyone else has felt this? My doctor said as long as I'm not boxing or being punched I should be fine. But this has never happened when I was younger.

Hi there!

It is quite common to experience muscle strain (felt as a stretching feeling below the ribs) with strenuous exercise. I would suggest keeping the body adequately hydrated, doing warm-up and cool-down exercises before and after the work-out respectively, taking deep breaths while exercising and gradually increasing the work-load. If you still continue to experience discomfort, you may seek a review with your treating doctor to consider possible secondary issues such as inflammations, trauma etc.
