Just Sore vs. Swollen

Just Sore vs. Swollen

I took a shadow boxing class at the gym the other day (it was a Monday) and the next day my calves were so sore I could barely walk.  Then the next day, (Wed.) I was still sore but better so I decided to take the class again in hopes that that would make me better. The next day I woke up still sore and now I realize that my legs and calves are actually almost swollen looking.

Is this natural?  I have been sore before but never this bad and this swollen.  As a self-diagnosis I am fearing poor circulation.  Previously I had a similar incident when I was on a plane for 4 hours and my legs became very swollen after and again I could barely walk.  This seems a little extreme for someone in their mid20s.  Is there anything I can do, will it pass over time, or do I need to see a doctor?

Thanks for your input!

hi steph456,
due to lack of proper rest this condition has risen. That's what i can think. Unlikely to be a circulatory compromise.
But if a local doctor is easily available, you can go for a friendly chat related to this condition.
All the best,
regards
