Leanin & toning

Which is the best option to lean and tone.  I am 5'9 165 lbs and cannot lean out my legs.  I have done weight training for years and I feel that I bulk up my legs right away.  I want to lean out and thin out, not bulk up.  Is Yoga and Pilates the key??

Hello!

Continued and sustained cardio in a regular manner will give you a lean figure and a proportional body. You will lose the fat which was put the last the first and the old fat will be the last to go. Swimming, jogging, skipping sure will help you lean and tone out your legs. Yoga is and option but pilates will sure help. You can do pilates if possible once or twice a week with cardio for an hour 5 times a week and over a period of time you sure will lean your legs and remember balanced diet is also very important.

Take care!
