Loose weight and muscle size but gain muscle strenghth

Hay, so I kinda need strong muscles for swimming. Thing is I notice that I tend to build big muscle. I'm sure I'm gaining weight as muscles, but I want to loose weight and the soze of them. Like my thighs for example. Not fat, but I do have fat on my thighs. When you touch them you can easily feel the muscle and although there very little fat on them they look like they weight 500 pounds only cuz the muscle is so large. They're not exteamly strong, but I want/need strong muscles. So question is, how can I get strong muscles without building bulk and gaining muscle weight? I got 20 pounds to loose. Most of the fat is gone from my legs, I just got it on my stomach and arms pretty bad. I've just got huge leg muscle. I'm not even kidding when I say huge, they are huge. So

How can I build up muscle strenghth without building up muscle size/weight?

Hi, if you want to build muscle strength without getting massive size then you have two strengthen your muscles during some weight training. Remember to use lightweight and more repetitions rather than heavyweight and fewer repetitions. This will give more stamina and power to your muscles without enlarging them in size. Use as lightweight as possible. Regards.
