Low pulse

Low pulse

Hi,

I exercise pretty moderate, 2-3 times a week plus I've got a quite active job. Last time I went to the gym I did for fun check my pulse to see where I was at. I did like I use to do, warmed up a bit for a few minutes, and from there I started out on the mill with a pulse of approx. 72. I jogged 3 minutes and my pulse went just lower and lower the more I strained. When my pulse was down to 48 I still felt quite alright (a bit lightheaded though). I shrugged it off and concluded that I might be keeping my body in good shape but it does leave me a bit curious. I think I figured that the highest I got that day was 104 bpm. Could it come of the simple reason that I sometimes struggle with hypocalemia?

Is there a logical explanation to this?

I know I've heard of people whose heartbeat decreases at stress but I didn't really think I'd be one of them! At rest my pulse is just normal but I do struggle a bit with hypoventilation from time to time.

Exercise, cardio should be a daily routine and some amount of preparation is required. Have healthy breakfast, warm up before doing the machines. The monitors should be proper or they give you false results. Need a trainer initially and later you can do it yourself. Try doing it in a relaxed state while following a proper diet (Rich in minerals, enough water, proteins and carbohydrate) and measure your indicators over a period of time. If you have any symptoms while working you can always follow up near a physician. Take care
