MBT shoes and knee operation

I am interested in MBT shoes (Masai Barefoot Technology). I had a knee operation (reconstruction of legaments) 10 years ago, and even though I do a lot of sport, I still have sometimes an unstable knee where it comes to running or aerobics.

I would like to know if by using MBT shoes my situation is at risk of becoming worse or deteriorate as these shoes are imitating an uneaven surface, hence, might challenge unstable knees.
thanks

Hello!

I was unable to find any studies to substantiate their claim.

There are many advantages as they claim like; activates neglected foot muscles, tones and shapes the body, helps with joint, muscle, ligament and tendon injuries, helps with back, hip, leg and foot problems etc.

Check with your local orthopedician to understand that they do not cause any damage for your condition before using it.

Take care!
