Hi guys
I am a 25 y/o male (5"11, 12 stone) and I am suffering very bad Abdomen pain directly halfway between my belly button and my genitals, to the left and right of the large thick centre muscle which runs down the centre of your stomach, after doing any exercise.
At the moment, I am managing to play football for 20 minutes every 2/3 weeks - the 2/3 weeks taking the time for the pain to disappear, which, in those 3 weeks, stops me from doing anything at all without nothing but discomfort and pain - the most discomfort being from lying down to sitting up, and things walking. As soon as I do the exercise after the couple of weeks rest, the pain re-appears straight away. I have tried resting for 6 weeks and 4 weeks, before re-trying, but nothing is working.
If I do any form of exercise - even running across a road - I can barely run, and I can only describe it as feeling like having 2 lead balls bouncing around in those 2 areas.
I feel no pain during the football, and it begins to pain for around an hour or 2 after the exercise.
From then on, for a couple of weeks afterwards, if I tense my groins together, particularly the first couple of days afterwards, I can feel the pain intensely to the left and right of where I described above.
I know it is difficult, but can anyone even begin to diagnose what this problem could possibly be, how I could fix it, or whether anyone has had anything similar to this?
To date, I have had a urine test, which has came through clear, I have been felt around for possible hernias, which has came back as a definite no, and I have had ultrasound on my testes, which are clear and not showing problems.
The 2 doctors I have seen to date (One GP who then referred me to the Urologist) seem to think that there is no possible way to examine the problem using a machine, such as an MRI, X-Ray or similar. Is this the case?
Where can I go from here?
Very very frustrated.
Many thanks in advance
