Mometasone and strength training

I use mometasone (Asmanex) inhailers for my COPD. I also do strength training, does this steroid aid in this or does
it become counter productive and break down the muscle? How could this steroid be used for benefit? and when
could it be taken? Thanks..

It is used in the treatment of inflammatory skin disorders (such as eczema and psoriasis), allergic rhinitis (such as hay fever), and asthma for patients unresponsive to less potent corticosteroids. In terms of steroid strength, it is more potent than hydrocortisone, and less potent than dexamethasone.
It has no side effects on muscle.
You only use puffs whenever you need them. In acute phase take puffs at regular intervals.
Take care!
