There is a good possibility that you tore the ligaments that hold the tendon to the bone. You need to go to an orthopedist for an xray to make sure. If it is a tear it will not get better for a very long time, or it may need surgery to repair the tear. If is only a sprain, you will need to wear a sling and rest the muscle. A doctor needs to assess the arm.
