Mysterious Bicep Injury

I have had this very odd Bicep injury for well over a month. I used to be able to comfortably curl 40 pound dumbells with both arms. However, one day I was suddenly only able to curl about 20 pounds comfortably with my right bicep. I have no pain, swelling, bruising, etc. associated with my right bicep. However, my right arm can curl less than half weight of my right arm, and I have no idea why. I gave it about two weeks rest after I noticed the injury, but it did little to help the problem. Any information that could lead towards rehabilitaton would be greatly appreciated.

I have been experiencing almost exactly the same conditions as yours in my right biceps for the last 5 months.  When it first began, I noticed I had difficulty reaching my right ear with my right hand, especially when washing my face over the sink.  Later I realized that I could only curl about half the weight of what my left arm could do. Just like your condition, I have no pain, no bruises, etc., seemed like nothing out of the rdinary except losing the strength. I have been doing light weight lifting just to keep my muscles toned.  20 to 25 pound bicep curls is about normal for me but my right arm could hardly curl 10 pounds these days. I have asked a lot of quesitons, short of going to my doctor, around but no one had this condition until I came across your comment.  I will post again if I come across anyone who can explain this.
