Hi, I think I pulled a muscle today playing rugby, I tackled someone but they came down on top of my quad muscle. I now feel a sharp pain on the left-ish side of my left leg around the middle area, but it is specific to that point and does not seem to be the muscle itself.
Is there anything worse it could be, I find it hard to walk and I can't stand on that leg with my leg bent.
How long should I rest before I do sport again, and should I see the doctor?
Maybe you pulled your IT band? It could be but I would ask a physiotherapist as apposed to a doctor as physiotherapists are more experienced, in my opinion, with sports injuries.
