Physical activity during shingles

by Rosiesmall, Jan 01, 2007 12:00AM
When one has shingles, is it necessary to restrict physical activity, such as exercising, bike riding, tennis, etc.? Or is it okay to continue doing anything that you did before to the extent that the pain allows you to? Will you get better any faster if you rest and stay in bed or stay quiet as opposed to being physically active?
