I ran a marathon last year and trained for Twin Cities marathon. Through my entire training, I would find myself getting nauseated and throw up sick between miles 15 and 20. Unfortunately I only made it to mile 22.5 before throwing up during the actual marathon. I have not been able to use GUs as the consistancy makes me feel sick. I ended my training runs and the attempted marathon with a lot of salt deposited on my legs, faceFace pain and arms....has this ever happened to anyone?
