Shin Splints - Help

I have an Olympic distance triathlon omn Sunday - 2 and a half days time. Jumping and playing with my daughter i have all of a sudden got shin splints. First time in several years of getting this. What can relieve this in only 2 days!!!! Help.

Hello!

For the next 2 days rest, anti-inflammatory treatments such as icing(your shin) and drugs, such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID gel) may be used after consulting your orthopedician/sports specialist.
If you need to practice then you have to continue these things and take additional diclofenac patch and shots.
As soon as you complete your triathlon you would need to go for a perfect routine and methods to decrease shin splints / medial tibial stress syndrome under the aegis of an Orthopedician.
