Shoulder cracking? Closer to back and inner shoulder near spine?

Hi there, new here and made an acct just too post this question. For the past 5 months I have been having dull shoulder pain, ever since I quit playing softball. I was a pitcher which obviously affected my shoulder (left side) and ever since I stopped playing I have had this dull ache in the shoulder closer to my back side near the spine. However my question is, every few minutes or so I will sit up or readjust my shoulders and they ALWAYS crack. It's mainly close to the spine and it doesn't bother me that much but it seems to always be on my mind. The dull pain however is something I have come to terms with, but I was wondering if anyone has any advice or recommendations about the excessive cracking? Thanks in advance. P.S. alot of my other parts of my body do also crack excessively, such as my knees, elbows, wrists, but the shoulder thing is the only part of my upper body that does so and is not on the right side only on the left. I am a young healthy female so I do not think it is arthritis, seeing as I am still in high school, but if anyone has anything too add please feel free.

Popping or clicking in the shoulder can be related to many causes. Sometimes it is caused by a cartilage tear or rotator cuff tear that is rubbing within the joint. I would suggest you to recollect any injuries or falls.

There are conditions like Rheumatoid arthritis and Rheumatic fever which affects multiple joints also in young individuals.

I would suggest an X-ray of the shoulder and to follow up with an orthopedician to diagnose the condition.
