Weight Loss and Core Secrets

by tomswife2007, Jun 01, 2006 12:00AM
(I posted this on the Women's Health Forum originally by mistake)

Hello everyone! I am 34 years old and after quitting smoking and going through a very stressful time in my life (that isn't completely over yet), I gained 50 pounds going from 135 lbs to 185 lbs on a 5'5" frame. My cholesterol went up more than it already was including the "bad cholesterol" and besides that history, I have a history of heart disease in my family among pretty much every other disease you can have in a family history.

I recently started working out 5 days a week doing a combination of the Core Secrets program and walking on my treadmill at home to lose the weight. I was already eating healthy, so I have continued that as well. I am just not sure if I am eating too many calories a day to lose the weight I want to lose which is 50 pounds.

I was wondering if any of you are doing the Core Secrets program out there, what your results are, or if you have any tips on losing weight in general.

You should eat normal meals except for dinner.
Eat the biggest salad you can. pile it high with all the toppings, cover it with fatning salad dressing. Eat as much of it as you want.
And watch by the time it gets to go to sleep you will be starving. Thus you lose tons of pounds.

I've been using the videos and ball for about 6 months and I have had great success with them. I have 5 different videos...and although Gunner is hard to take at time, I really like the workouts. I haven't done the food plan, I've been doing weight watchers instead.

i put on 55 lbs before i had my baby in august, and i have about 10 to go!
