Working out and Gaining Weight

I am 34 and 5 ft 2 in tall.  I have been wanting to loose a jean size or Clothing Size. I am currently in a size 4 and want to be a size 2. I have lost weight before by doing Low Carb Diet  and running but I was still flabby.... So I wanted to try somthing different. I joined a gym 6 weeks ago and am there 5 days a week for an hour and a half.  I do Cardio every day for 30-35 minutes. Tredmill rumming at 6 mph or efx machine.  I then lift weights for an hour.  The problem is that I am gaining weight and feel Fat! I started at 112 pounds and I now weight 119!  What is the deal? I eat healthy. Whole grain, fruit, veggies, meat, eggs and water! I am getting very deperessed that after 6 weeks I weigh so much more. My sister is doing the same excersise and diet and she is loosing weight like crazy?
Help!

I don't know all the details but I would think that you are gaining muscle and that would be causing the weight gain. How are your clothes fitting? I would recommend measering yourself like your waist and belly for examples as well as weighing yourself. The coment you made about being flabby that can happen not only by not weight training but as you loose fat it gets loose/ flabby/ jiggly, due to it looseing up to be expeled out of your body and this can happen with weight training. When my husband and our friends would get ready for bodybuilding shows it would happen to them.

Now your sisiter may have more fat to loose and that might be why she is loosing more and also remember that everyone is different and loose differently.

I hope this helps.
