is it better to do sit ups etc every day or every other day? in terms of toning your abs

Generally, you should take breaks when working on specific muscle groups. Give your abs at least a day of rest between each session, and you'll get better results. It gives your muscles time to heal, especially after an exhausting workout. I hope I helped!

Every other day! Also doing Planks are better than sit-ups! Google plank exercise.
