The best advice I can give you is to EAT CLEAN. I have experienced first hand qhat all these processed foods do to our bodies and thankfully I not only changed my body composition I can healthier too. I have always suffered with chipped brittle nails.. now they are long and strong. I would always get cold sores which amazinhly I have not had for a very long time. I feel great about myself and I think thats more to do with the food im consuming rather then the actual weight loss. Exercise is also important but u dont need to train to you vomit to get results. Be kind to your body even if u are not happy with it. Because one day soon u will look back and be thankful that u were once that size but it will show you how far you have come and show you, you are capable of much more. Please keep me informed how you go :-) I am a qualified personal trainer and would be happy to give advice. Good luck !

You know the best way to stop hating your body?  Sweating hard and working your *** off during your work outs, even if the first few are terrible just know you did better than anyone sitting on the couch!  It's been proven that people feel more confident and have better self image after a work out although they haven't lost weight and their bodies haven't changed. Just start moving!  Good luck :)

I am also 13 and I know how you feel. I'm not sure how much this'll help but I recently started tracking my calories. I know that what you eat shouldn't completely depend on how many calories you consume, but it's extremely helpful for making sure you don't eat too much. Try eating somewhere around 1200 calories (depending on how much weight you want to lose and how much you weigh now). Remember to burn at least 500 more calories than you consume. I hope everything works out for you!

Start with small achievable goals. You will meet success faster and stay motivated to continue. To work out start simple. If you begin by over doing it, you wont be able to keep up and will quit sooner. Start small like going out for walks/jogs with friends and then work ur way up. A good app im using is c25k and fitapp. It helps u go from walking to jogging. Keep tracking yrour food but allow 1 cheat day a week to get rid of any cravings. I learned that from weight watchers. If you quit cold turkey, you will crave food so bad you will end up over indulging instead out of frustration.  Hope this helps!

I'm 17 and can understand where you're coming from, even though I'm gonna be a college runner, training at 50 miles a week now, I do sometimes pick apart everything bad about my body. But honestly, I can say I use it as motivation and inspiration (in a healthy matter) to be the healthiest I can be. All I can say is stop eating out at resturaunts- they flavor food with unnecessary salt and sugar to create a craving and addiction to the body. Eat raw and clean, only things you cook yourself or things uncooked (veggies). There's always ALWAYS healthier substitutes (quinoa instead of sugary white rice, portobello mushroom burger, veggie stir fry tacos). It's about 70% diet and the rest exercise. Try working out once in the morning a bit, and once in the afternoon (to speed up metabolism!) I'm

Don't hate your body. Eat less and exercise more. Learn about nutrition and find enjoyable activities that burn calories. Try high intensity exercises (like burpees, kettle ball, insanity exercises). Exercise before breakfast to burn stored fat. You have a good goal. Be disciplined and you can achieve it.
