arrhythmia and boxing

I am a 26 year old white male about 5'11" 200lbs. A couple of years ago I had skipped heartbeats. I went to the doctor and was hooked up to the EKG. The doctor on call told me I had premature Heartbeat, and not to worry because I was only young and it wasn't dangerous. However he did tell me to stay clear of stimulants. Sometimes I don't feel a premature heartbeat for months, and sometimes I may get 1 a day or even 5-10 a day(though not very often). Anyway since then I've done a little research on my own and hence figured out that there are two kinds of arrhythmia's, atrial and ventrical. Right now though I don't know which one I have I was thinking about joining a boxing club or mixed martial arts and I guess my question is, of these two types of arrhythmia's, Is there anyone that would put me at a high risk of dealth if I was seriously cut, or really tired during or after a strenious fight? Or are my chances of dying not much greater then the average man? If there is one type of arrhythmia that would be particularly dangerous could you please specify. Thanks.

If you go to the heart forum and do some research you will find that this is a very common occurance.  There are two types of ectopic beats.  The premature atrial contraction (PAC) is the beat that starts in the atrium.  The other is the premature ventricular beat.  It starts in the ventricle.  They are both generally benign.  What you are experiencing is very very few ecotopic beats.  I would forget about them altogther.  I have had them and just about everybody has them.  Some people are unaware of them entirely while others feel every beat.  But don't go to a doctor and spend a bunch of money on tests, because nothing is wrong with you.
