exercising loads but not losing weight

I have been working out 7 days a week for the past 5 months now and I have also been watching what I eat yet I can't seem to lose any weight.
I haven't been on an actual diet but I have cut portion sizes and cut out sweets all together. I eat a lot of fruit, no bread and hardly any carbohydrates. I go to the gym 2x a week where I jog for about 30 mins and then do some weights and use the cross trainer and the bike. The rest of the week I do various work out DVDs.
So far I have neither gained nor lost any weight at all and I also haven't got leaner or more toned. No matter what I do I just can't seem to change my body at all.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Thanks for the help :)

Dear kate_maggie,
We would suggest you to calculate your BMI. If you are above normal in the BMI then we suggest you to go to a dietician and plan a proper diet chart. Do not stop eating, but eat healthy and cut down a little on your calories which the diet chart planned by the dietician will suggest and then work out. Your work outs are fine, whatever you have mentioned.
When your output increases than your input you will lose calories, do not go below your normal BMI.
Take care!

You should stop working out 7 days a week! Your body needs to rest and recover. Try switching up your schedule. Try working out for two days and then take a day off, two more days and take another day off. You have to change it up or your body gets used to the same old routine and it stops responding. Hope this helps, good luck!

Thanks for the comments!
Dr Vinod: I was thinking about going to a dietician so that's probably what I do. thanks!
nikoram: I have read that somewhere before but I just didn't think it would matter whether you work out like 7 or (lets say) 5 days a week. But I guess it makes sense so I shall try and mix it up a bit and not work out every single day :)
thanks for your help!

Hello,

You can always do one thing of relaxing after 2 weeks of workouts for a day or two as nikoram suggested so that you come back rejuvenated.
There are many activities in many professions where you have to do the same activity repeatedly and you have no time to give rest to your muscles.
It is all about toning your muscles and working out only till you are comfortable and should not exert yourself to limits where you have pain.
Gradually increase the workouts and enjoy them and while losing weight remember to plan it with a diet chart.

Take care!
