feels like i tore somethin in stomach

Actually, I haven't exercised in exactly one week.  I had fitness test for boot camp, was sore for a few days, and haven't done anything else unusual since then.  Please please please say it's not hernia.  it's about 3 inches lower than belly button, a little to the right.  I can barely cough, let alone do a cough test.  I don't feel any lumps, but maybe a few bubbles.  It's getting easier as day goes on, but I'm tryng not to go to doctor as I have no insurance/money for doctor.  It's embarassing, but could it be gas??  Last night I woke up in middle of night with stinging sensation, like something tore.  I go to boot camp in one week.  Also, I am a 40 yr old female...(not pregnant)

You should not worry till you are properly diagnosed; you should avoid stress completely.

Take antacids after food and try proton pump inhibitors such as nexium on empty stomach for few days if you are have burning gastric symptoms.

Rest and do not do any physical activity and if your abdominal symptoms are continuing then you have to go for a proper examination and an ultrasound scan to come to a diagnosis.
