Normally for fractures you need complete rest and immobilization. This is not possible as the very existence of life is oxygen and you need to have your respiration so cannot do that with ribs.
For faster healing try to restrict hyperventilating yourself, do not exert so that your respiration increases, rest at home, proper position on bed, while sitting and take complete precautions for day to day activities which will help in faster healing. Go for a repeat X-ray after 4 weeks of rest and you can know about your healing by then.
Consult an Orthopedician for any complication.
Take care!
