Completely agree with comments from littlepirate.  What you eat and drink is the most important part to weight control.  Exercise will make you feel better, but what you eat is the bigger factor.  Feast and then famine is not the answer.  Try smaller portions at steady intervals instead.  Next...the amount of sugars and gluten in our food choices is alarming.  Try to reduce sugar and sugar additives as well as gluten.  It will take work to find these products, but worth the effort.  Finally, ask your mom to be a partner with you...we can all benefit from eating better plus it's really hard to change a habit with the temptations always available.  Good luck!

Do an activity you enjoy....walking even. It's more important you pick something you can maintain. Try to cut out white flour and white sugar. I know it's challenging to have unhealthy foods around. Ultimately, when you think you want to eat the unhealthy food, think about how you're feeling at the time. Take a ten minute walk. You may feel better. Don't beat yourself up. Enjoy what you do accomplish. Drink enough water as well.
