hi thanks for your interest.
no medication right now...and I am amateur. I will note that I am natural...whether that makes a difference or not. I have had a ruptured disk in my lower back...but that only flares up rarely...as I am relative strong in my lower back. I have not been evaluated as of yet by anyone other then my primary doctor..and he was no help. I do agree that there has to be a correlation between hip and knee...since it seems to come at the same time. The hip started for the first time last summer...when I started jogging for the first time in a long time. I have since stopped.
i guess I dont have a choice but to get evaluated...keep you posted on my progress..and thank you again.
Hi Rukester,
Are you a professional body-builder or a small timer? Are you been trained by a coach? Is there a medical assistance at help when you do those heavy weights?
I feel while doing your weights, you might have injured your lower back. Simultaneously you also said that your right hip is irritable and sore.
Are you on any analgesics? Have you taken any medications for your sore hip?
The nerve supplying the hip and knee originate from same nerve root, hence any pain in hip joint would cause nerve irritation and subsequently pain in knee on same side of hip.
Hence you are experiencing pain on right hip and right knee.
Is there scan being done?
Have you been evaluated by an orthopaedician?
I think MRI or CT scan is best modality available.
Keep me informed about your disease progression.
If you have a competition coming up, I think earlier you consult a specialist, the better for you.
