You want to lose 2 dress sizes. I think, don't quote me, that 10 lbs is one dress size, so 2 dress sizes would be 20 lbs. Okay, so to recap, you're size 20 now and you want to be size 16 and you want to lose 20 lbs in 11 weeks. Is there a special event happening in 11 weeks that you want to be 20 lbs slimmer for ? Okay, 11 weeks is actually 2 months and 3 weeks. I would suggest going to your family doctor. Tell him or her that you want to go on a diet and what he or she would advice. I don't any of your other medical conditions which are also very important when you want to lose weight because you want to lose the weight safely. Your family doctor can advise you best and maybe he or she can give you a referral to a nutritionist or a dietician. About two years ago, my family doctor was concerned about my high cholesterol and being quite frankly overweight. She gave me a referral to a dietician. She worked with me, we tweeked my food plan, made several suggestions about how to cut calories, eat more fruit and vegetables, eat more fibre etc. I did lose some weight, actually fourteen pounds with the dietician's help.
