is drinking too much water good ?

hi ,
first i would like to thanks all of you for your help and the patient provided to us.
my question is , does realy the fact of drinking too much water harm us ? am askin , because a friend told me that this my fatigue our urin system , i dont know whether its true or not , but i would like to know please. and please , can u tell me whether is the act of drinking much water help in the process of loosing weight .

It will help you lose weight by making you feel full and bloated but you can drink too much water and dilute your eletrolyte levels and cause severe problems but this would be in the order of gallons a day.

Still if you are emptying your bladder more then 8 times a day and it feels like every time you go your bladder is full you are probably drinking too much.

A good rule of thumb is one quart of water for every 50 pounds of weight and remember this also includes water from food.
