lower left rib pain

i can either touch the bottom of my lower left rib or my skin under it and it hurts. i dont know if its a torn muscle or something  worse. when i breathe deeply, i dont feel anything. when i run, jump, swim...anything, it doesnt bother me. when im sittin down and i get up, i feel a pain. other than that, im fine. can you help?

If you have physical pain you should always see a doctor.  No one can diagnose you over the Internet and although I'm sure professionals on the site may have an idea of what's causing this pain, its only speculation.  Go see a doctor and have it checked out!
