pulled chest muscle

by evangel4, Jun 21, 2008 11:24PM
Hi,
Thank you very much for your reply. Other manifestations I am experiencing besides pain are: difficulty breathing, coughing, and sore throat. I play baseball and lift heavy objects sometimes, but not often. Can a pulled muscle cause all these symptoms?

With a sore throat I think you have something other than a pulled muscle.

Hi,

A pulled muscle can cause breathing problems. I would advise you to refrain from all activities which would cause chest strain like lifting heavy objects and playing baseball for sometime. OTC pain killers and icepack will also help you. Regular saline gargles should work for your sore throat. If the symptoms persist please schedule an appointment with your doctor.
