severe bicep pain

Wednesday i did some new back exercises, yesterday I noticed severe soreness in both arms (bottom of bicep, front of the arm, around the elbow), the left a bit more than the right.  I cannot fully extend my arms without pain nor can I fully bend.  The pain has progressed today.  I don't see any swelling or bruising and I didn't hear anything pop when I was working out.  Could I have just overworked the muscles or shall I see a doctor?  My arms are most comfortable bent at 90 degrees.  The left bicep is sensitive to the touch as well.  I wasn't lifting heavy weights, mainly my own body weight.

Muscle strengthening is a practice and should be perfected slowly and steadily. If you work out much on a single day it causes lot of discomfort, you should not work out on a same muscle everyday and you should give rest for 48 hours. Now you give complete rest to your arms, take some anti inflammatory drugs and ice packing and wait for couple of days and if you do not feel good please visit your orthopaedician. Take care!
