This weekend while doing my normalNormal saline flush walking routineRoutine sputum culture, I began to feel severe leg pain towards the bottom half of my legs. The pain is coming from the outside muscles, on the side of the bone, and it feels like the muscles is being sqeezed. I have felt this before but never this intensely, I could always kind of "walk through it". This time I could barely make it back home. When I arrived back home, as soon as I stopped moving my legs seized up and the muscles affected became inflammed. I used cold packed, on and off to treat it and it did help. At firstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 100 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 25 First-progesterone vgs 400 First-progesterone vgs 50 First-testosterone First-testosterone mc I though it was shinShin splints splints, but everything Im reading suggestes that shinShin splints splints are another muscle entirely. I also tryed shinShin splints splint stretches before heading out again, but found myself turning around after a few minutes of walking. I wear ( to my knowledge), proper foot wear and I do stretch before and after, but have never felt this before and it has never persisted like this either. I am now finding just as Im standing, the muscles are starting to act up and burn.
I would really like to fix this so that I can continue my walking routine. I would appreciate any feedback and advice! Thanks!
This type of pain can be associated with the feet, not wearing the correct type of running shoes, ect. You can try and use running soles inside of your shoes to see if that helps any. Otherwise I would suggest scheduling an appointment with a GP, chiropractor, or a neurologist for a diagnosis. I run daily, so I can relate to the pain you describe. I use Dr. Scholls gel soles and this really helped me with my ankle pain/shin pain. I also made a visit to my Chiropractor for a checkup to see if my condition was serious, which it wasnt.
