suggest me a diet to get a bit healthier i am thin.

i would like to explain my condition as this..
i am 17 years old last july....and actually when i was 14 i was not having much height but in the 15 and 16 year my height increased and now i am having a good height but with this i have become much thin and also i feel my weight is bit less than normal . now
i need to know what things shall in take in my food to get some healthier..
also due to some busy schedule i cannot go to gym for a year ... i need some home exercises.
be sure that i am vegetarian for my diet.

Hi, your age is just 17 and you should focus more on your diet rather than exercise. Although weightlifting is good but you should not lift heavy weights more than your capabilities. You should comfortably be able to do 10 repetitions. Your body is still growing and you need extra calories and extra proteins. I advise you to increase your carbohydrate and protein content of the diet in the ratio 4:1. This will help to make sure body requirements and of course body mass. Search for vegetarian foods rich in proteins. You can do some exercises at home like situps and push-ups, yoga and stretching exercises, jogging etc. Thank you.
