testosterone supplementation issues

by hardcoreback, Mar 23, 2007 12:00AM
a friend of mine (well, the owner of the gym im into) is using testosterone boosters.. im just kinda curious if that would classify him as unnatural since i think its kinda an illegal drug.  im trying to find a good supplement.. but since i guess much scam issues are involved.. i guess.. i ll stick with the basics proven thing..

1. 100% quality of weight training.
2. sleeping well to aid recovery.
3. and eating a well balanced diet.

will these three be good choice? or i need to back them up with supplementation. im able to gain muscle mass even wihtout any vitamins or supps. but thinking that my peers are into supplementation. making me realize that within three months they all grow huge than i am. tanx.. help is very appreciated.

You should know that taking such supplements over an extended period of time causes atrophy of the glands that produce these substances naturally. The body has a multiple hormone sensors and when levels are too high shuts down the organ respinsible for that hormone. These are also "growth" substances and you never know if you have  a malignancy somewhere that would love the extra nourishment.

Has your diet gotten better?

There are test sups you can take that you buy at a sup shop. Yes you would still be considerded natural. But if you are gaining muscle with out taking them then don't. And if you take a test sup you have to cycle it.
