tight and swollen left calf

i had surgery last week on thigh area and a day or two after my left calf muscle ceased up.  i just thought it was a huge leg cramp.  it is sore to the touch and yesterday i was  on it alot thinking that  i needed to exercise it.  it swelled and got really hard and my ankle,  foot is a little puffy as well.  i lay to try and relax it and the moment i  get up to walk around there is sharp pains around the lover part of let and into  ankle.  like blood is rushing in. hurts a lot not easy to walk on it.  any advice?

Hello!
Do not exercise till your inflammation decreases. Apply ice packs, take some anti inflammatory drugs and after the inflammation decreases you can start movements slowly.
If you have increasing symptoms then you can go to the operating surgeon for consultancy and examination.
