tingling in lower leg

by like2run, Sep 24, 2006 12:00AM
I love to jog and jog about 4 miles every day.  One day while I was jogging, I felt a sharp tingling sensation around my shin area.  I was almost finished with my run, so I decided not to stop.  Every since that day, I started feeling a tingling in the front of my leg between my knee and foot area.  Although this tingling (numbing) sensation is not painful, it has me worried being I never felt this before.  It feels sort of like my leg wants to fall asleep and other times it feels like little pins poking under my skin.  When I shave my leg it feels very tingly.  Is there anyone who has had this and knows what to do?  Any information on this tingling (numbing) sensation would be greatly appreciated.
