I would like to point out that fat is a necessary diet component. You need some fat every day to be healthy. Polyunsaturated fats can even lower your bad cholesterol! The main thing with fat is to eat unsaturated fats, like avocado, nuts, and olive oil. If you Google search "my plate cdc.gov" you will find lots of information about healthy eating. This page also talks about healthy vs. unhealthy fats. http://cholesterol.about.com/od/cholesterolnutrition101/f/highunsatfoods.htm
It doesn't mean that you have a thyroid issue but you may want to consult your doctor an have blood work done to test for an abnormalities. If you are taking in a lot of salt in your foods (processed foods especially) this may make you seem more bloated and fatter because of excess water weight being carried on your body. Try to eat as natural and raw as possible. Fruit and vegetables in the simplest forms are the best food for fueling your body. Also try to take as much fat out of your diet as possible.
