variation in heart rate during exercise

hi,

i have a question., i am 34yrs fem and i hve been doing moderate exercise for 30-40mins 5 times a week for
the past 5-6months. i was given a wrist pulse watch as a present. i used it today and it troubled me.

during my fast walk it read 53!!! . cld it be it?? i checked it again later and it was 85 still walking fast.

the 2nd time i put my finger in my neck and the pulse seemed fast to me. but if indeed it
went down to 53 what could it mean ?? cld it be dehydration what?

anyhow in the end i took it when i stopped it showed 146 and 1 min later it was 93.

my usual resting ranges from 58 to 72.

thanks in advance.

Hello!

I would suggest you to get your pulse checked manually by a trainer, paramedic or a physician for confirmation.

The tools sometimes give erroneous results as in a normal healthy person it is not possible for gross variations in very short spans of time.

The resting rates between 58 and 72 are fine.

Take care!
