Have you looked at Weight Watchers? They have a good program. You have a food guide for all foods as well as restuarants, yes even fast food. They usually meet once a week and are a great support. They have a point system that allows you a lot of freedom on food choices. It's a good place to start and learn all your good foods, portion sizes, etc..
Try the Fat Smash Diet by Dr. Ian Smith if you want to kickstart your diet and lose weight fast and healthy. I did the first stage and lost 11 pounds in 8 days. Its basically eating mostly fruits and veggies, also beans, brown rice, yogart, egg whites, drinking lots of water and etc... You got to eat every 3 hours and work out atleast 30 minutes a few days a week. Its basically a natural detox without the pills. You have to be motivated to stick to it, but you will definately drop the weight. It has taught me to look at food differently and eat healthier and lighter. I am 5'6 and used to weigh about 230lbs. I have lost 30lbs and am still trying to lose more! Also short weight loss goals are really helpful. I reccomend using www.startyourdiet.com to track your weight loss and set goals (its FREE). Good luck!
Hi,
How are you? Obesity houses a big risk to a number of diseases like hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, PCOD, atherosclerosis etc.
The most important things for weight loss is to calculate BMI and calorie intake requirement. Diet should be planned with more proteins and fibre, less carbohydrates and fat.
On an average 2-3 kilos should be lost in a month. You should right and healthy. Never skip a meal. Also a fitness regime needs to be fixed.
I would suggest that you visit a nutritionist and fitness expert for further assistance.
Best.
