weird feeling at temple area after weightlifting

about 5 months ago i was doing a bench press (pushing weights forward) when suddenly i felt a great pain at the left side of my head. I think i may have breathed improperly but im not sure. When I came back after 10 minutes, the pain starting coming back when the weights got heavier. I came back after two weeks though, and the pain was completely gone. However, ever since then ,I 've had a weird squiggly feeling on my head's right temple area. It's not painful, it's just annoying. The doctor told me that he didnt know what it was and then it should be gone in a couple of months. However, a couple of motnhs have passed and although it occurs a bit less now, it's still present and it's annoying. Does anyone know what it is and if i can go weightlifting again? Thanks a lot, i appreciate it.

If the doctors can't find anything you may be experiencing anxiety.  Lots of people can get a little panicked when the get winded during exercise and then when you start thinking about how hard you are breathing the panic just gets worse.  I would look up the symptoms of anxiety and also check the anxiety forum here on medhelp.

whenever I do any kind of fast repitition excersice like stationary bike or fast walking, I feel a little dizzy and breathing seems different up to a few days later. I have been to doctors and cardiologist and have been through all the test and they can not find anything wrong. I also get palpations with these symptoms. I would appreciate any kind of feed back. I relieve these symptoms with a body temperature bath and then I am back to normal.

I did a dance performance where I had to do this really intense silent scream with my face and it always gave me the worst headache.   I think sometimes when we tense the muscles in our neck and face it can restrict blood flow to the head giving us a headache.
Try to relax your neck and head muscles when lifting, put all that energy into your abs instead (to support your spine)  and make sure to never hold your breath.

Hi,
I have bad allergies and one day while congested and doing the bench I got a terrible pain in my temple which sounds a lot like yours. Mine did go away but it did take a couple of months.
