Ferret weight

Just a quick question? My ferret is a 4 month old male and is 3lb is that a normal weight? Thanks for your time. :)

Adult male weight can range anywhere from 1-3/4 lbs. to 6 lbs. The most common weight range for adult males is 2 to 5 lbs.

Also bear in mind during the colder months ferrets can gain 20-40% of their normal body weight.  However, the will lose this again come the spring.
