Hedgehog Nosebleeds

Is it normal for hedgehogs to develop a nose bleed when being examined? or under extreme stress? and if so why?

I personally don't know anything about hedgehogs so I have no suggestions. Have you searched online about nose bleeds in hedge hogs? I found a few bits and it was the typical information: injury, low humidity, infections or tumors. Was it being examined by a vet at the time? Did the vet say anything about it?
