Potbelly pig infection

How do I know if my castrated potbelly pig has an urinary infection?  Forrest is about 4 1/2 months old and he has had a few clear globs come out in his urine.  They look like twisted silicone.  He was house trained but during the last week he has had several "accidents" and has had to go out more frequently.

A simple test by a vet would tell you for sure. They could do a blood test to check for increased white cell count and they could take a urine sample to look for bacteria. I've never had a pig but with any animal, infections should be diagnosed and treated. It would be a shame if it spread to the kidneys. I hope he gets better soon.
